    I heard someone say that this song is about the lead singer, matt berninger, trying to write one more song for this album, but having terrible writer's block and not being able to finish it on time. Their english record company was pressuring the band pretty hard to get the album finished and matt felt bad that he couldn't make another song. That being said, I think the lines about being carried by cheerleaders show that he feels worthless now being hated by his bandmates and record company. Oh he calls himself mr november becasue that's when the album was supposed to be released. Also, when he says he's in his room and "this is when i need you" I think that means his significant other was his inspiration before and now that he feels pressured to make another song and he doesn't have her with him, it makes it that much more difficult to write the song.
