Pablo and a bunch of other dudes such as Tyrone and Austin are stuck on an island in the hit show backyardigans. Great show as well, would recommend. As the song says "We are castaways", they are castaways and stuff. They have no house, car, cup, or dish. They eat seaweed, and lots and lots of fish. I would only recommend this show for adult audiences. Beware when watching the Backyardigans around children under obvious the minimum age of 18. There are many deep adult lessons in this show, so again, just beware. Another main character in this amazing R rated show is Uniqua. She shows everyone blood and gore and stuff like that.

I think the meaning of this song "castaways" means that they were either thrown off see or being isolated on a island. This may mean that since they are all Mexicans this is my theory. That since they weren't accepted to go on a ship to someones house (lets think like a kid) to a kids house where they get to be played by that they were left untouched alone hence why they sing "we are castaways" referring to themselves are being abandoned by their once owner. Like their aren't claimed by any kid. Besides having themselves. It says in the name Backyardigans which is clearly saying to me that their owner has abandoned them by not playing with in the backyard. While the music backs my theory with them feeling abandoned but they don't no that they are abandoned. Because they are still happy. This is my theory.
