This song is about, yes, a guy who was betrayed by his girl. But it goes a little more like this: The guy likes the girl. The girl likes him back. They do stuff together and the guy thinks they will last a while. Then the girl meets another guy and starts to like him without telling the first guy. The first guy finds out on his own and drops his own girl because he's humble enough to let her have the other guy. Lyrics below.

To me this song's meaning is about a guy who feels betrayed "I can't be saved" by someone (maybe a girl who's treated him badly) and they're getting angry and frustrated at what that girl's done to him when they were together "I'm not force fed lies while I'm by your side". The guy's been shot down and they're hurting, but despite all the rainy days "it's taken its toll on me", they're not gonna let it affect them for long "but I don't feel invisible" and that they're moving on with their life despite the bad times "I'm finally acquiring the sate of mind that everything's gonna be alright", and all will be well soon, they'll move on and they'll feel elevated.
