    This song is about her relationship with God. At the beginning of our walk with Him is so strong and passionate. We crave His love more then ever. We seek more then ever. Then as time go on like any relationship. Its not like it was in the beginning. Ever Christian i know went through this. This song is about her love for God.

    Make it like it was speaks to me so much. Because I interpret it as a woman explaining to her man that when they first started out he showed her how sweet and generous he was but later on down the line he changed completely and she discovered he wasn't who she thought. So she's asking him to go back to the way the use to be in the beginning when he was kind and gentle. I think allot of women end up in this predicament and wish they could go back and find the man they fell in love with in the beginning. I heard this on the radio and it was just what I needed now I can't stop singing it.
