Pat Boone – He lyrics

He can turn the tides
And calm the angry sea
He alone decides
Who writes a symphony

He lights every star
That makes our darkness bright
He keeps watch all through
Each long and lonely night

He still finds the time
To hear a child's first prayer
Saint or sinner call
And always find Him there

Though it makes Him sad
To see the way we live
He'll always say
"I'll forgive"

He can touch a tree
And turn the leaves to gold
He knows every lie
That you and I have told

Though it makes Him sad
To see the way we live
He'll always say
"I'll forgive, I'll forgive"

Nothing hidden anywhere in this; it's plain as day. The dear Lord loves us so much that He does wonderful things to give us great joy and happiness, such as giving somebody the talent to compose beautiful music. He loved children dearly when He was on earth, so He gets great joy Himself to hear a little one pray. And why wouldn't He forgive if we ask? He asked His Father to forgive the ones who had mocked Him, tormented Him and nailed Him to the cross. I'd call Him great & mighty, but fender and loving at the same time. I can't make it any plainer. I'm His, and not one whit ashamed! I love Him more than I can tell. How could I not, after all He did for me, and is still doing? He's dearer to me than reputation - nay, life itself. He gave me life that will never end!
