Uh yeah I heard the song a while ago and thought "damn this is an interesting song about someone who died and their lover held them while they died." And then I look the song up and I start scrolling through the comment section and all the people were like "hAhA iNnApRoPrIaTe LmAo" and I was just like wtf so I started looking it up and apparently they think it's about like someone climaxing during s*x and now as an aro ace I'm extremely uncomfortable and I hope to god it's not about well... THAT and that my interpretation of the song was right and that EVERYONE ELSE IS JUST WRONG AND BEING IMMATURE!

I don´t think this song has a sexual meaning, but it may do. I rather think it´s about a couple who wanted to kill themselves. And one of the partner tried to kill himself in the arms of the other one and he succeed. But the other one didn´t and the lyrical I who´s the one who succeed is now saying if it isn´t cute that he died in his arms.

I don't think it's about sex, it may be about sex though. I saw a lot of people talking about how this song has no meaning and it is basically about sex. If it is about sex, I do not know how I'm going to listen to this song normally. I feel like the meaning of this song is POV between two lovers: one of them committed suicide and they see how their partner is trying to comment suicide too, they are trying to prevent them from committing suicide by coming back to life. The living person is trying to commit suicide again, and this time is about to succeed. The other person sees this and is doing everything in their power to stop it, even trying to come back to life to stop them. The living person succeeds and the last chorus is them seeing each other in the afterlife. There is both happiness and sadness in this chorus, as they are happy to see each other again, but the first one that died is sort of asking the other, "How could you do this?"

I dunno but I think it's about two lovers and one of the lovers hated the other and lied about loving the other and then one day the other lover saw the other lover commit adultery secretly and then the lovers had a fight because of it then the lying lover started to get agressive and grabed the other lover in his/her arms and then the innocent lover grabs a gun and decide to end the chaos and shoots himself/herself thus the lyric in the song going (suicide in your arms) and I'm getting lazy so I will just say that the chorus explains the rest of the story

I believe that it's about two lovers, and one has killed themselves. The other lover finds them as they're slowly dying and holds them, and the one who is dying/dead tries to come back from the afterlife, due to regret and seeing their lover in this state, having found their dead lover.

I, personally, don't think this song is meant to be taken sexually, but instead about two lovers, and which of one wants to die. I feel that this song is about how one of the lovers has been feeling suicidal, but decides to hide it from their partner. Eventually, the suicidal lover attempts suicide off of a high place and falls, and fortunately, the other caught them since they somehow found out about this secret. At the suicidal lovers last dying breath, they've died in their partners arms, thus the sentence, "I died right into your arms tonight" and "I fell hard in your arms tonight." Once the dead lover reaches after life, they feel a guilt that they cannot be together, so they try with all their might to reach the living plane, but they can't. In the end of the song, the melody is a sound of bittersweet music, possibly signaling that even though the dead lover could not come back to life, they are still left with the happy memory of dying in their partner's arms. (Also, this makes me quite curious what the living lover's thoughts are and how they're doing.. haha, too bad we'll never know.) :)
