    I think that song is about how a loved one has left them or passed away. If you watch the music video, in the first few seconds of the video, there's a picture of the silhouette of a woman. The background then changes to black and the silhouette to white, appearing that the silhouette was cutout, meaning that someone was removed from their life. Then there is a picture of Maxwell crouching at a grave. In the next scene, the ghost of Maxwell's lover stands in the street, beckoning him. Maxwell steps into the street and falls under, which represents him "drowning" in his sorrow. He then swims across the street and pulls himself up by holding onto the sidewalk. The next scene shows Maxwell sitting in a diner, reminiscing about the loss of his love. Two women are sitting next to him. Through the use of flashbacks, it shows that they have experienced heartache and loss of some kind. He the exits the diner, and it still seems like he is underwater, hinting that he is still drowning in his sorrow.

    As I held my mother's hand, endometrial cancer slowly took her away from us, and I couldn't cry - not in front of her. She showed us strength to the last and my father and brother and sisters and I prayed that it would all go away. But it didn't and I am reminded of all the things that I never said and did for her. Thank you mom for all of your sacrifices. You are missed!

    This song is about a woman giving birth! As much as I love & basketball um. That was a whole different outlook of the song! I know its not Maxwell's song but it is a brilliant song with beautiful music and if you just listen to more besides the vocals and listen to more and the quality of his voice he is really telling the story. You can hear the emotion and passion and that's what Maxwell does and that is what he did in the song!

    This song is about the threat of dying in childbirth. I know it's not the original but it still has a lot of meaning especially for those who know people who have died in childbirth. The song means a lot to me and I have liked it since I first heard it on the show; So you think you can dance. The context that they used it in was a woman dying of cancer.

    The song really mean a lot to me cos I know a very closest person to mean that died during childbirth.i really like the song cos it reminds me of what I should have said but I never say .what I should done but I never did.its really hard on me now.but I know she will understand cos she is resting with the lord now.rest in peace and I wish her a peaceful journey

    Responsibilities of a mother and father after a baby is born. Song told from father in 3rd person, then 2nd then 1st. It seems the father left after the baby was born and regreted it immediatly. The song is his thought process after thinking about it quite often. Hes wishing things turned out differnetly. Hes also explaining the option for a man to leave that situation but not a womans.
