    Do you know the story of tonight? It was really a sad story. D composer was engaged with his long time gf. As they depart 4 work, his gf died and was 1 of the Sept. 11 incident at twin towers. He was so deeply heartbroken and devastated thus, composed this song in honor of his gf. Isn't it a bit sad as you hear d song, it portrays much of longing 4 someone whom you've miss so much. =(

    I always here this song but was only able to understand the lyrics earlier this day. I did not like the genre kasi but when I finally able to digest every word, my jaw dropped. It was touching and reminded me of a boy 14 years ago who tried courting me (we were grade 4) basted sya, what does he expects from a 10-year old girl who does not understand what courting/crush meant? We met again during college, we were both 18. He tried once more but I refused him again, I had a boyfriend then. We met Christmas last year in a simple get together. The story repeated, he confessed, I declined. Then last month, we met again, another reunion of classmates. I left the event early for a business meeting, he walked me out of the resort and when we were few steps away from the main gate, he held my hand. (he actually intertwined his fingers with mine) I froze and was brought back to that very moment in our elementary classroom. After few seconds, he let go. I was caught off guard. The following day he told me, "gusto kita". It took me some time to realize I was liking him now. But it's too late. I'm single but he's now in a relationship with someone.

    This song is about a girl who died. Her lover apparently finds it hard to go on, and he usually remembers the moments he had with his beloved. I think the girl died in a car accident(and I remember the car you were last seen in). This tragedy just mekes me so sad. I love fm static, theire songs are so full of substance not just some worthless piece of crap.

    I love this song. Pag naririnig q toh naiiyak aq. Cause its like, iniwan k ng isang tao kze may mahal clang iba. Peo kahet gnun mahal m p din xa. Peo pede din nman its about friendship. You miss your friend. Peo kahet anung pilit na iwas sa mga bagay na naaalala m xa anjan p din. Un n rin mismo ung lumalapit sau para maalala m xa. D k umiiwas ng dahil sa khet anung dahilan.     This song is actually about the composer's fiance who died in the 9/11 tragedy in new york. He's just reminiscing the times they were together; all the things he loved about the girl he was going to marry. He's saying that even though she's gone, he holds on to the fact that all he has to do when he misses her is look at the stars and have comfort in the thought that his fiance is in heaven. Hence the line "i can just look up and know the stars are holding you tonight. ": ')

    ,-npka importante ng kantang ito sakin. It reminds me of someone named joezel peradilla. He used to loved me (un ang sabi nya.) but now he's gone. I don't know what went wrong but still kht n sinaktan nya ako. Pra sa kanya 2ng kantang to. Always rmember that you are the best thing happened to me 'dhy.     I love this song and a long2x tym 2 I know d meaning of this song.
    My only one dedicated this song 2 remember 2 meh dat he nid meh, my love, my carring 2 hm but I will never gve it to hm what he want. Now he gone 2 my life he left meh with a child to grow with my own self.
    But its ok 2 meh atleast he left meh with a remmber 2 remind 2 hm, 2 remind that I will never give d love he nid.

    I like the song. It's like having someone in your life before that made things perfect. Actually, the song (i think) for me is too sad. If you will really look or find the meaning of it. It's like you lost someone who is very important and all you have are memories being together. But in spite of it all. His memory is still the one giving you strength.
    This song reminds me of a very special friend who already died. All that's left are memories and promises. And when things don't work out too well. How you'd wish he would still be with you. Comforting you.

    My ex. Dedicate this to me. I dnt knw why. What's on his mind. He told me to listen to it and it was amazing. I like it. Though he made my mind confused. The story of the song have similarities to what had happened to our past. We started as childhood friends then it became mutual. But we have to separate for so many reasons. And now he's here again. And wanted to be with me.

    Agree ako kay weakweak. Yung mga babaeng nagsasabi jan na namimiss nila mga bf nila dahil sa song na to at theme song ng bf nila ang kantang to, mga bomplax kayo tanga bobo. "and know the stars are holding you tonight... ", ibig sabihin nyan patay na yung sinasabihan sa kanta. Unless patay na nga bf nyo, go lang sa parereact na namimiss nyo sila sa kantang to - hawak na talaga sila ng mga stars. Pero kung buhay pa, nasa bahay lang mga yon, nagjajax o kaya may binebenggang ibang chiks. Gamitin mga utak ha?

    This song is the best song for those couples who used to share every single day together but then time comes that they had to do something else and that includes moving to another place to find a better future and endure the pain of having a long distance realationship. : '(
    I very much understand the feeling of having your love one so far that all you can do to ease the pain of missing him by sleeping coz that's the only you can think of to be with him even just for those hours that yuou are asleep.

    Every time I hear and/Or listen to this song it makes me sad and sometimes makes me bring A out tear in my eye because it remind me of my friends. Because we all had A "FRIENDS" fight and now my old friends and now they all created A new group and joined force together and I am all alone. Good thing I still have some friends that has my back. But I still my old friends. I wish we could make this mess clean before graduation.

    I'm really want to cry cause this song relly express what feeling you will feel if you have someone that is very important to you and you can't forget about.
    This song also shows what would be the out come of the friendship, memories, promises and love that the people show in there lifetime.

    If theres a person I would be with forever. Thad be her. She makes my world go round. D naman daw nya ko gusto xabi nang mga klasmate ko. Pero parang, fate olways happen to be my allie. Hehe truly, ngayon palang kame nagkaclaxm8 pro feel ko weve been together for years. I just can't stop thinking about her each and every day. Maybe really I'm in love with her.
