Becky G – We Are Mexico lyrics

"Hard work, double time, overtime, two jobs, working till our heads hurt,
But we ain’t never late to pay the bills.”
“Mother said, ‘Always follow your heart, make sure you keep your head
Above the water,’ and I promised her I always will.”
I see 50 Latinos, 50 Latinas,
That's my crib on the weekend, that's mi familia
Talking in spanglish, en español,
I'm just here to let you know,
If you don't know
Now you know
We are Mexico
It don't matter where we go
Viva Mexico!

Becky G in this song is basically representing her hometown, Mexico.
After what Donald Trump said about Mexicans. Becky felt offended and wanted to sing what she felt. And I actually agree with her. Her song is saying what Mexicans go through to have a better life and that they are hard workers and not what Donald Trump had said about them. Saying Mexicans work hard and get double jobs to keep their families happy. But what Donal trump said is not true about all Mexicans, we are hard workers, and I agree and like what Becky said and explained about a real Mexican life. I live Becky G by the way.
