This is a story of a man who still hold on to his past love. Even though he already have his own life to live he's still in love with his past love and doesn't want to let go and the regrets hurts him still. He still hope for someday, somehow they will meet again and he still hoping that they can continue what has left and can tell the words that was left unsaid. So sad.

This is about a man whose wife or girlfriend died. He has moved on but feels guilty that he still harbors feelings for his dead love. He doesn’t think his new love will understand. And it’s also about that loss is a bitch and the hard aweful loss of a love always haunts you. My marriage wasn’t great. My wife killed herself. I feel all these things just about everyday. It’s hard to not feel damaged. I understand this song.
