This is a song that describes a feeling, we all have felt at one time or another, That feeling would be jealousy. Clearly jealousy rears its head in the form hate "he hates the one who has made him feel this way, he hates himself for allowing it to happen which ignites his rage to cause the other pain, and produces even more resentment because he doesn't know how to control his own inadequate feelings, other wise known as low self esteem and the desire to control the situation and the other person involved. Simply put, jealousy is a form of control, and because you have no control, you give life to a demon that lives in all of us. Male, female, young and old. When it surfaces, acts of desperation are seen. Some are extreme. This is why I feel children should never be on what is known as anti-depressants or anxiety meds simply for the fact that these are common everyday feelings that is part of human nature. Your ability to recognize and deal with these feelings are what makes human beings different from the other animals on this planet, life is a journey of self discovery which should not be hindered by prescribed anti psychotics in children. Adults who are dealing with these feelings need to see a shrink because there desire to control, and that's what it is, a control issue. I go by the simple rule "that the only thing in life that I have any control over is my own attitude".
