Oh have some heart and hold it to your chest,
We weren't in love, we were too young.
We throw our words around as if they were not gold,
Well they are.

Oh maybe someday I will be something more,
Real with arms and legs so I can walk away and stay away forever and some more
Some more.

I'll stick around to watch this town fall down to it's knees,
You can pray the day that you hope is coming round real soon.
I will run and stay away in a place that I don't know well of,
You can choose a different song that you will soon love.

Well here are the reasons that hurt me the most.
Call off the search I'm coming home,
People lie once, but not on the third,
Not without reason, not for a girl.

The names will vary, the names they may change,
But the game, the game it stays the same, Oh love, we want the ones that we will grow to hate, to hate.

It's just so
Oh no, oh no. oh woah, oh no...
(Etc.)

Oh maybe someday I'll deserve something more,
A home in which I will turn to grow.
I plant the seeds so that we can become something more, something more

I'll stick around to watch this town fall down to it's knees,
You can pray the day that you hope is coming round real soon.
I will run and stay away in a place that I don't know well of,
You can choose a different song that you will soon love.

Oh here are the reasons that hurt me the most,
Call off the search she's coming home.
People lie once, but not on the third,
Not without reason, not for a girl.

It doesnt matter who cheats more! What matters is that, after someone cheats on you, u look at them in a complete different way, you dont know who they are anymore. I havnt been cheated on, but i know what is like being heartbroken. In the end its just heartbreak.

Love and hate. Breakup. Sadness, heartbroken. This song says many things on the topic of love. Trying to run away from it, finding someone new, lying in a relationship;cheating. Not knowing who the person is anymore, not knowing who you are (call off the search im coming home/call off the search she's coming home. ) this song, is just beautiful.

Everyone can cheat, I (personally) think girls cheat more than boys. But, hey, it's only my opinion. This is a very strong song though.

yeah but, you fail to realise, it's a guy singing it.
yeah boys will cheat, but he's singing about a girl who cheated on him.
Josh wrote this song, about a girl who cheated on him, Gabriella didn't write it, so the fact ISN'T boys will cheat, more on the Girl's will cheat side.

    its about cheating.
you can lie once but not the third. It's only a girl. No one cares about how they feel!!!
If you listen to the Gabriella Aplin version it's more meaning ful it's like shes on about a boy cheating on her. Gets me every time

The names will vary, the names they may change- The people that they have cheated on them with. It's heartbreaking to listen to.
The fact is. Boys will cheat
