I'm the man in the box
Buried in my shit
Won't you come and save me, save me
CHORUS
Feed my eyes, can you sew them shut?
Jesus Christ, deny your maker
He who tries, will be wasted

Feed my eyes now you've sewn them shut
I'm the dog who gets beat
Shove my nose in shit
Won't you come and save me, save me
CHORUS

It seems to me that the writter is angry because he percieves that jesus will not come and save him.
Jesus shows him the love that is possible, but then lets him sink right back into a lonely separation between god and sinner.
He knows that to give up on this relationship will be his peril, but the frustration seems too much for him to bear.
The song ends with a plea for god to take over and direct his life.
