And I heard a voice through the discord
In the deluge of passersby
And I saw one gaze frozen in time
Watching me passing by

And I swear I'll know your face in the crowd
And I'll hear your voice so loud
When you're whispering

Hey unfaithful I will teach you
To be stronger,
To be stronger
Hey ungraceful I will teach you
To forgive one another

Here's my kiss to betray
Kiss to betray
Desperate to brush the lips of grace
Brush the lips of grace
Do you feel hollow when you think of how I've lied?

Oh sweet angel of mercy
With your grace like the morning
Wrap your loving arms around me
Oh sweet angel of mercy
With your grace like the morning
Wrap your loving arms around me

Hey unfaithful I will teach you
To be stronger
To be stronger
Hey ungraceful I will teach you
To forgive one another

Hey unfaithful I will teach you
To be stronger
To be stronger
Hey unloving
I will love you
I will love you
I will love you

And Jesus, I'm ready to come home
Jesus, I'm ready to come home
I'm ready to come home...
Hey unfaithful
Hey ungraceful
Hey unloving
I will love you
Hey unloving (hey unloving)
I will love you

i think it's a comparison of Judas and Peter's actions during the crucifixion. kiss to betray clearly Judas...who escaped from his denial and the Peter swears he'll know Jesus' face in a crowd, and lies to people about Jesus, yet he felt bad a was able to seek and obtain forgiveness.

This song is, to me, about how once you trust God with on thing, you'll trust him with everything.
It's coming out in a powerful statement saying that there IS a god.
And he CAN do wonderful things for you.
And he does truely love you.

Underoath is just amazing with lyrics.
    Truely powerful.

I think that this song is so powerful that its scary. To me, its a song between a man and Jesus. The stanzas are the words of the man who is talking to Jesus. Asking him how he feels that he is a sinner and a monster...And Jesus replies, "I will teach you" and "I will love you". It's a cry out to all humans who feel that they always fall short of the glory of God, telling them that Jesus will be your savior no matter what!
