When I first heard this song I thought it was about the usual thing, y'know, like a relationship between a guy and a girl but now I'm not so sure. Maybe that's what it was written for, I don't know, but to me, right at this moment I just think it could be about any relationship we may have in our lives.
Between children and parents, husband and wife, teacher and student, two friends. I don't know, it affects every part of our lives.
Everyone who has commented has basically said the same thing. I guess you can end up taking someones crap for so long, thinking that's what you're supposed to do. Like you grow up in the mentality where this is your life and you learn to accept it. But then you see maybe through their actions or words that really, they're no better than you and all the crap they've been spitting means nothing. It doesn't touch you anymore.
They don't belong n your life and you'll never let it happen again.

This song is the "ultimate" pansy anthem. Seriously, it is demoed for wimps who want to vicariously feel confrontational without, necessarily being man enough to do it on their own. Look at all the comments above for exhibit A.
Also, the song is ridiculously easy to play, (hotdog! Power chords!) the song structure is typical post grunge: conventional, safe, and relying on the radio tested soft/loud/soft/loud formula.
Get some better taste people!
