I need a sign to let me know you're here
All of these lines are being crossed over the atmosphere
I need to know that things are gonna look up
'Cause I feel us drowning in a sea spilled from a cup

When there is no place safe and no safe place to put my head
When you feel the world shake from the words that are said

And I'm calling all angels
I'm calling all you angels

I won't give up if you don't give up [Reapeat x4]

I need a sign to let me know you're here
'Cause my TV set just keeps it all from being clear
I want a reason for the way things have to be
I need a hand to help build up some kind of hope inside of me

When children have to play inside so they don't disappear
And private eyes solve marriage lies cause we don't talk for years
And football teams are kissing Queens
And losing sight of having dreams
In a world that what we want is only what we want until it's ours

[Chorus x2]

Calling all you angels [Repeat till fade]

The song means so much to me because I lost my 20 year old son to cancer last year. He was my best friend and I know he is a angel and I need for him to let me know thing gonna look up and this pain will go away

I think of this song in a very spiritual way! I think of all my loved ones that left this world and are whatching over me. I feel there sprits with me when i hear this song, i think of them as angels in heaven and have a warm feeling inside true love!!

this song is about losing faith...or trying to find it. when all hope for the world is lost, when everything seems like it's going to hell, you search for something somewhere-any strand of hope-for things to be set right. it's the truth of the world, the sad, sad truth, that some people can't accept. someone somewhere has lost all hop, and they live in a world of agony and pain. but there will always be hope.

This song is not only the theme song for my favorite baseball team (guess which one) but also as a sign that angels do comfort people or lets them know they are indeed there. I can think of several examples of that. For one, a statue of an angel stands almost directly over my cousin's grave site at Hollywood Cemetery in Virginia and I have a picture of beside my bed. I like to think that angel is watching over him the way he is only one of the angels watching over me. When another cousin of mine passed in January the clouds and rain that we awoke to the morning of the funeral gave way to bright sunshine en route to the cemetery, like she was heaven's newest angel smiling down on us. In other words, don't take this song as someone doubting God exists. I am a Christian and this happens to be one of my favorite songs. Like I just need a sign from someone who has gone before me to let me know that I am not alone. I guess you missed the playoffs in 2009 when the Angels were playing Boston and the door on the outfield wall at Fenway Park suddenly opened inexplicably. I know who was likely behind that move, a certain Angel in heaven named Nick Adenhart!

This is a prayer for help for hope for a safe place for angles to help all. If everyone sang this at a specific time on a specific day maybe heaven would hear all those millions of voices. I know prayers are heard and this prayer for help and hope in this time of need would be a good thing.
