For once in my life
I have someone who needs me
Someone I have needed so long
For once unafraid
I can go where life leads me
And somehow I know I'll be strong

For once I can touch
What my heart used to dream of
Long before I knew
Someone warm like you
Would make my dreams come true

For once in my life
I won't let sorrow hurt me
Not like it's hurt me before
For once I have something
I know won't desert me
I'm not alone anymore

For once I can say
"This is mine, you can't take it"
Long as I know I have love
I can make it
For once in my life
I have someone who needs me

For once I can say
"This is mine, you can't take it"
As long as I know I have love
I can make it
For once in my life
I have someone
Someone who needs me

Love is a word that is too loosely used today. Sometimes it is used as a mere sign off when "goodbye" would suffice. One can't love someone with "all" of their heart if there is religion in their life. Most often people feel as if they've been rejected by the people close to them if they're not told they're loved every time a call, email, letter, or conversation ends. This is basic a insecurity most people have.
"i love you" should only be said at only the most appropriate times. This way it doesn't loose it's meaning in the truest sense.
