You and I fell apart like a rag doll torn at the seams
Then he came in stitched up the pieces like some kind of hero
I, I bet it was easy to act like a damsel in distress
I guess you got what you wanted

He'll pick you up just to knock you down,
One day I'll see you both in hell.
Is it everything you thought it'd be?
When he's lying there I bet you think of me.
I swear he'll only dress you up,
Go out just to show you off.
Girl I don't know what you see,
You're more than just a mannequin to me.

Now you and I are staring at each other from across the room
And there he goes, hanging on tight like the necklace I gave you
I'm moving on, living well is the best revenge.
Oh is this, is this what you wanted?

He'll pick you up just to knock you down,
One day I'll see you both in hell.
Is it everything you thought it'd be?
When he's lying there I bet you think of me.
I swear he'll only dress you up,
Go out just to show you off.
Girl I don't know what you see,
You're more than just a mannequin to me.

You and I fell apart like a rag doll torn at the seams
Then he came in stitched up the pieces like some kind of hero.

He'll pick you up just to knock you down,
One day I'll see you both in hell.
Is it everything you thought it'd be?
When he's lying there I bet you think of me.
I swear he'll only dress you up,
Go out just to show you off.
Girl, I don't know what you see,
No girl I don't know what you see.
You're more than just a mannequin to me.

As others have said, this song was written from the perspective of an ex-boyfriend. He's trying to get the girl to see that her new boyfriend only takes her out and dresses her up to show her off because she is so beautiful, whereas he, the singer, loves her for who she is, not what she is. It's all explained in the video made by the summer set.

Its from the eyes of an ex-boyfriend. Another guy came in and treats her fairly well but he's trying to explain to her that its not actually that way. That he's always respected her and treated her better than the other guy ever will. He just really wants the girl to see that.

It's written from the eyes of the boyfriend.. He's trying to explain it to his ex-gf (mannequin) that even though things got really bad in the end, he respected her more than her present boyfriend and he's trying to tell her how much she means to him and he's also trying to make her realize that it's him(ex-boyfriend) who she will really be cool with

Evidently, the song's in the perspective of the ex-boyfriend. What he wishes to say is that, although things didn't work out between him and the girl (the mannequin), he treated her much better than her present boyfriend. Unfortunately, the girl doesn't see that.
