Things didn't work out like they should,
Farther from how you thought they would
Do you still want my hand?
Do you think I'm still your man?
I'll change everything I can.

Holy plans and holy gifts
Holy shit what did we get
You said you've got plans of your own
You're gonna work and I'll stay home.
Do you still want my hand?
Do you still think I'm your man?
I'll change everything I can.

My dog is loud and my dog is wild
We're too young to have a child
Can you keep the dog next week?
I'll be gone the next three.
Do you still want my hand?
Do you still think I'm your man?
I'll change everything I can.

I ain't through I ain't walking out
Leaving ain't what I'm about,
You may scream and I may shout.
But baby I love you.

Sounds to me like they are both unhappy or having second thoughts, but that he is the one acknowledging it. Acknowledging that they likely rushed into it. Sounds as if he is asking if she wants to fix it as hebis unsure, but he is also willing to work at it to make it right.

Well, it seems like the guy is devoted to the relationship while the girl is having second thoughts. Like shes saying she is gonna make him stay home whle she works, but the man wants to work through the differences, he is even looking for someone to take the dog for their honeymoon possibly? And at the end he says he isnt giving up that easily, because he lovs her
