I think the song thrive means there's one point in our lives where we get confused. We try to figure who we are, where we are suppose to be, and where we need to go. Through life we have many difficult problems are everyone feels like there not good enough or disappointed in themselves. No matter what problem we go through we should always be thankful for what we have.

Wanting to find real meaning in life, and live for it. "i want to thrive, not just survive. " wanting to give up all the meaningless parts of your life that seem to shape you into a person who isn't you. "the stranger in the mirror is wearing my clothes. " wanting to live for what you know is right not just because you know its right, but because you are truly passionate about it. "i'm always in line but i'm never in love. "
This has a lot to do with faith. It's about being spiritually numb because you've got caught up in the world.
