Come Sail Away lyrics by Styx

I used to think that this song was about aliens and UFOs from the "climbed aboard their starship..." lyrics. But, recently, I've been studying economics, and more specifically, the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). What will become clear to anyone that studies this aspect of our economy, is that we're operating under what is known as Law Mechant Law, or, Maritime Law (Admiralty Law). When I heard the song again, it struck me: Styx is talking about our economy, and furthermore, they're lamenting the fact that people don't understand the system as it is, and as such, they're enslaved by it.

"I'm sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea..." -- I am done with this system, wanna go to a new place, a new system, one that is virgin, or one that most people don't even know exists?

"'Cause I've got to be free, free to face the life that's ahead of me..." -- Pretty self-explanatory: We're all supposed to be free, not debt slaves!

Here comes the part that really struck me.

"On board, I'm the captain..." -- This is the real hidden crux of our economic system: We The People are the one that are in control, all "credit" comes from us, not from the so-called "creditor". When you apply for a credit card, or for a loan of any kind, the credit is coming from YOU, the government is bankrupt, there is no "money" in our economy, there is only OUR LABOR. So this line, to me, is saying to us the People, that when we're sailing on the seas of commerce (the UCC) that WE are the Captain.

"I look in the sea, reflections in the waves spark my memory..." -- Again, this line struck me. The Public/UCC/Commerce is fiction (in the legal sense) and only exists as REFLECTION of substance (flesh and blood men and women). The "ship" that we said upon in the sea of commerce is the Strawman corporation that was formed when your parents filled out a Birth Certifcate on your behalf when you were first born. This corporation, represented by your name in all caps (i.e., JOHN DOE) is a reflection of you, but it is NOT you!

"I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had, we lived happily forever, so the story goes..." -- This line struck home with me because I remember when I was young thinking about what my life and the world were going to be like when I became an "adult". Now, however, I've come to realize that the "happily ever after" idea is a fairy tale because the credit/debt prison that we're all living in has trapped us.

"but somehow we missed out on the pot of gold..." -- Yes, we've all been mislead and miseducated by the bankers, and we've missed out on the "pot of gold" which is the fact that we're actually the creditor of the economy and that everything is actually PRE-PAYED we just don't know it!

"But we'll try best that we can to carry on..." -- we'll work hard every day, just so we can pay our bills, hope to save a little money, and then retire when we're 65. We'll try to live as a FREE SOVEREIGN with yoke of the bank manufactured debt around out necks.

The rest of the lines (gathering of angels) to me are about the people out there that have begun to learn, and teach others the truth of our system. There is a great deal of information out there on this subject, and I encourage anyone interested to dive in and read all you can, as it's only through study that you'll come to see the truth. As I said, I've been studying this material diligently and the lyrics struck me upon hearing the song again.
