Smokey Mountain – Da Coconut Nut lyrics

The coconut nut is a giant nut
If you eat too much, you'll get very fat
Now, the coconut nut is a big, big nut
But it's delicious nut is not a nut

It's the coco fruit (it's the coco fruit)
Of the coco tree (of the coco tree)
From the coco palm family

There are so many uses of the coconut tree
You can build a bigger house for the family
All you need is to find a coconut man
If he cuts the tree, he gets the fruit free

It's the coco fruit (it's the coco fruit)
Of the coco tree (of the coco tree)
From the coco palm family

The coconut bark for the kitchen floor
If you save some of it, you can build the door
Now, the coconut trunk, do not throw this junk
If you save some of it, you'll have the second floor

The coconut wood is very good
It can stand 20 years if you pray it would
Now, the coconut fruit, to tell you the truth
You can throw it or use it as firewood

The coconut leaves good shade it gives
For the roof, for the walls up against the eaves
Now, the coconut fruit, say my relatives
Make good cannonballs up against the eaves

It's the coco fruit (it's the coco fruit)
Of the coco tree (of the coco tree)
From the coco palm family

The coconut nut is a giant nut
If you eat too much, you'll get very fat
Now, the coconut nut is a big, big nut
But it's delicious nut is not a nut

It's the coco fruit (it's the coco fruit)
Of the coco tree (of the coco tree)

From the coco palm family

It's the coco fruit (it's the coco fruit)
Of the coco tree (of the coco tree)
From the coco palm family

It's the coco fruit (it's the coco fruit)
Of the coco tree (of the coco tree)
From the coco palm family

Ole!

This song is clearly about coconuts.
It´s lyrics express, how useful coconut nuts are and how they (and coco tree) can be used. The song shows big variety of options. It also provides basic information about coconut nut. As the song (maybe surprisingly) says, coconut nut is not a nut, but a coco fruit.

This song is actually a warning about how the coconut can be good for you, yet very, very dangerous. In this song he is singing about the very good uses of the coconut while smashing one of them to his head every time he sings the words "coco" and "nut". This gives him headaches and memory loss, causing him to sing certain parts of the lyrics repeatedly. The song ends quite sadly when he bleeds from the head and the quire tries to get the medics attention by screaming "OLE!!!".

This song is probably about how useful something can be.

If we want to put good use to something, we must not throw it away, and waste it. Instead think of a good way to use all of it. 100 billion pounds of paper is thrown away each year. The phrase, if you eat too much, you'll get very fat means that there are many fat people, as well as poor people who could not afford food. The phrase, it could stand 20 years, if you pray it wood, means that if you treat something well it would last, and not be wasted. All the uses of the coconut tree can be replaced as a simple apple tree. It means that all tress are useful, and should not be wasted.

This is clearly about a guy talking about his pet nut called coco. He is saying that his pet is fat and that she came from a useful place, a tree. It explains how the guy cut the tree and builds a house from it for him and his house. He gets rid of the tree and turns it into something else so coco never knows she is from a tree so she thinks her parent is the man and doesn't run away to reunite with her tree. Coco is obviously very well looked after as she gets to eat lots of yummy food, that is why she is very fat, she is like a giant. The man explains that she is from the coco palm family not his family but he keeps Coco as his pet, best friend and parent or guardian. This is his story and when he says ole at the end he is screaming to tell coco to come back and not run away when she finds out he turned her family into their house.

This is clearly sung by a parrot. This parrots owner is a coconut expert and he researches and experiments with coconuts for his job. He is jealous because his owner loves coconut more than him. This upsets him so much. He keeps repeating what he hears his owner say at work and at home but he changes the lyrics slightly so coconuts are ugly and fat. Every time he hears his master say it he says it and there is a recording of his research on loop on the computer that is why he says some things are repetitively. Also he hates hearing this because it saddens him to think his owner loves coconuts so whenever coconut is said he bashes his head trying to commit suicide at the he dies saying "Ole!".
