Scary Kids Scaring Kids – Watch Me Bleed lyrics

The silence keeps it easy keeps you safe for the moment.
As you're walking away your foot steps get louder.
All you needed was time but now time will destroy us.

It will all be over and here we are, we're stuck inside this salted earth together.
You'll pierce my lungs, my limbs go numb, as my colors fade out you watch me bleed.
You watch me bleed...

I gave you everything do die with a smile all you wanted was to live for a while
You took everything but it left you empty you can't replace me, you can't.

It's almost over and here we are, we're stuck inside this salted earth together.
You'll pierce my lungs, my limbs go numb, as my colors fade out, you watch me bleed.
You watch me bleed.

It will all be over and here we are, we'll die inside this salted earth together.
You'll pierce my lungs, my limbs go numb, as my colors fade out, you watch me bleed.
You watch me bleed.
You watch me bleed.
You watch me bleed.

Watch me bleed...

I believe this song is about a boyfriend and girlfriend or best friends, and they are struggling to make their relationship work in a world that is against them and they just feel their not meant to be there, like their trapped, " we're stuck inside this salted earth together". And he is in depression or struggles to hold on and she just leaves him alone while watching him go through tough times. "as my colors fade out you watch me bleed." Now in the last chorus it says, "It will all be over and here we are, we'll die inside this salted earth together" this I believe is showing that they will try to stay until the end and die trying.

This song, to me anyway, was about him going through a death of a family member or close friend - someone who meant a great deal to him. "All you needed was time, but now time will destroy us" - could be referring to this person having some sort of life threatening disease or even that they're suddenly on their death bed and all they need is time to recover, but they don't have that time in their grasp. So, once this person passes away, "time will destroy us" - meaning the people who knew this person would suffer with the endless amount of time they have in their grasps to grieve and constantly think about the death of this significant person.
"It'll all be over, and here we are" - this could be stating that this person is currently dying in front of them and that this person's suffering will "all be over." And, when it says "you'll pierce my lungs, my limbs go numb, as my colours fade out" it could be describing the immense emotions rushing through him when he watches this person die right in front of him. I'm guessing this person may have something like Cancer - it would fit into the story that the song is trying to promote. Also, when it says "I gave you everything to die with a smile, all you wanted was to live for a while." - this could be saying that this person didn't want to die - they wanted to live with everyone, however, he did everything in his power to ensure that this person died happily, with no regrets and with a sense of peace.
"You watch me bleed" may not be aimed at him, this could be aimed at his friend or family member. This could be something that they have said to him, or what they feel he is doing - watching them bleed and wither away. In the last verse, it also states "we'll die inside this salted earth together." This is most likely a statement in which says that he intends to die with this person, commit suicide, or maybe he is even dying himself. There are a lot of possibilities in what this song could mean, I could be wrong. But that's what I think about when I listen to his lyrics and hear the tone of his voice. He sound so pained, and the lyrics are more than heartfelt. I think it's a song about living through and getting over someone important who has died.

This song is about suicide. Its a sad thing to have to deal but this song is about him falling in love, having his heart broken and being suicidally depressed, as you can find references to this in several other songs and even in the title of the song pistol to my temple. His death will always be a tragedy. We have lost a great musician. Who will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Rest In Peace Tyson Steven, and thank you for the music.

Its about someone who loves a girl. He believes they can make it but then they split. He trys to give her what she wants. And then he trys to forget but the more he tries he remembers all the good things and hell allways love her. This is what happened to me and ill allways blame myself and ill never no how she feels because I can't even see her but ill be better than she was at least.

I think this song is about someone that was in his life that meant the world to him, like a family member or a best friend or a girlfriend. But then when they leave him, he is just broken. "as my colors fade out" means that his happiness and joy and color faded away and darkness and blackness crept in. "pierce my lungs" may mean that every time he may see a picture of that person it just makes it harder to breathe. I can relate to this song a lot. It's one of my favorite songs :)
