I love this song, not only because it's about love, but because it (to me) seems deeper than love song. Don't get me wrong, i like love song, but very polished and clean cut.

I think what she's trying to say is like what chocolex14 said. Somebody told her to bottle up her love but she just couldn't do it. Anywho, great song.

I love this song and the bottle it up thing simply because it has to do with love, and that's not an easy thing for me now, and the bottling things up thing. I bottle my feeling up more than i should... But it's almost nessacary...

I like the line from which the title comes from, "i know it's your soul, but could you bottle it up? " i'm not sure if she was trying to do this (as to be honest, i don't understand her very well), but to me at least, i hear this song and think, "there are plenty other girls who've been asked to bottle up their love for somebody else, but they just can't do it... And wind up like me... ". The whole song feels this way (in my opinion)- like we're asked to bottle up our emotions, but for us, giving love is the only way we can feel it.

Just my thoughts.
