Down the Vнa Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day
The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street
But the crowd pressed in to see
The Man condemned to die on Calvary

He was bleeding from a beating, there were stripes upon His back
And He wore a crown of thorns upon His head
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for His death

Down the Vнa Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King,
But He chose to walk that road out of
His love for you and me.
Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary.

Los soldados le abrнan paso a Jesъs.

Como oveja vino Cristo, Rey y Seсor,

The blood that would cleanse the souls of all men
Made it's way through the heart of Jerusalem.

Down the Vнa Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me
Down the Vнa Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary.

These words are the sentimental attachment of Jesus's Love for you and me all the way...He had a purpose which was compelled by Love and nothing would have deferred His purpose, not beating, not those nails, not death, nothing and he gave Himself away though He knew He would still be rejected by many...I want to Love like this and to be Loved like this

It puts me among the crowd who watched as christ my savior walked through the streets, corners, alleyways, everyone watching him take my sins, my shame, my pain, every sickness, to the cross to hang so he can conquer death and reconcile me back to our heavenly father. What love?!!! Wow. I more words to praise him!!!
