You feel like a candle in a hurricane
Just like a picture with a broken frame
Alone and helpless
Like you've lost your fight
But you'll be alright

You'll be alright
Chorus:
Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break
Cause it's all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong
Wipe your hands shake it off
Then you Stand,
Then you stand
2.
Life's like a novel
With the end ripped out
The edge of a canyon
With only one way down
Take what you're given before it's gone
Start holding on, keep holding on
Chorus:
Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break
Cause it's all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong
Wipe your hands shake it off
Then you Stand,
Yeah then you stand.
Bridge:
Everytime you get up
And get back in the race
One more small piece of you
Starts to fall into place
Ooohhh
Chorus:
Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break
Cause it's all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong
Wipe your hands shake it off
Then you Stand,
Then you stand
Yeah then you stand.
Yeah then you stand.
Yeah baby
Ohhhhhhhhh
Ohhhhhhhhh
Ohhhhhhhhh
Ooohhhhhhh
Then you stand

This song is a beautiful song that reminds me and gives me the stregnth to live my life to the fullest and to make myself, family and my friends proud. It tells us not to give up and even when going through a hard time, slowly but surley the pain will pass away. But keep ya head up high, and live each day to your fullest. This one's for you sweetheart. A young man who has made me a stronger young lady. Rip Mark Dreger, I love you, Cherise. O xo.

This song helped me so much. My youth group leader always tells me I will be always be alright but then she goes on a missions trip to Uganda and I didn't want her to go because I love her a lot and I miss her. There is a long story about the things with my youth group leader and me. What has happened to me I just wanted to quit but then I heard this song and my God it changed my whole life. I love this song!

Being able to find the beauty when everyone says there can be no beauty there. That everyone's got a story & that you cam either listen to it or ignore it. But which ever you choose, is what defines your character. That there's battles that need overcoming. & that you need to think about another persons place, before you judge them. You don't know there story. That everything has a meaning, & that's the meaning of this song for me.

I am going through a divorce right now that I don't want. My husband doesn't know what it means to talk about anything. He just files for divorce. My friend sent this to me because I spend so much of my time crying. I love my husband and I wish he would hear this and understand that this is what I am going through. Praise Be for this song and the Lord! Thanks!
