Close your eyes and make believe this is where you want to be
Forgetting all the memories, try to forget love cause love's forgotten me
Well hey, hey baby, it's never too late pretty soon you won't remember a thing
And I'll be distant, as stars reminiscing
Your heart's been wasted on me

Ohhhhh ohh ah oh oh oh oh

You've never been so used as I'm using you, abusing you
My little decoy
Don't look so blue, you should've seen right through
I'm using you, my little decoy
My little decoy

Live your life inside a dream
Time is changing everything
Forgetting all the memories
And I'm forced into you just cause you're into me
Well hey, hey baby, it's never too late
When I'm gone you won't remember a thing
But I can't stay and you know I won't wait
I was gone from the very first day

Ohhhhh ohh ah oh oh oh oh

You've never been so used as I'm using you, abusing you
My little decoy
Don't look so blue, you should've seen right through
I'm using you, my little decoy

I'm not sorry at all
Oh, no (Not sorry, oh, not sorry)no
I won't be sorry at all
Oh, no (Not sorry, oh, not sorry)no
I'd do it over again

Don't look so blue, my little decoy
You should've seen right through, my little decoy
You've never been so used, my little decoy
As I'm using you, my little decoy

the person shes singing about id her distarction from who she
really loves and cant have. it says "close your eyes and make
believe this is where you wanna be" so shes trying to pretend that
she doesnt love someone else. then it says "i cant stay and no i wont
wait, i was gone from the very first day" which is saying that she was never really gonna love them fully.

i get this song in two senses: about she hurting someone

or maybe is 'love' just saying someone thats love always hurts and play with us, but giving us a little hope that time changing everything---

we r the decoy of love

i'm not sure about my message! haha but i cant explain it!

Hayley, the singer, said it was about someone being used, (not exact words) but yes, basically it's about a girl or whatever leading on a guy.
thats the basic outline of the song

    Songs have many meanings, but this is what I think it is;
A girl is dating a guy- the "decoy"- to maybe get to someone else or climb the social ladder. She's "forcing memories" to him just because he likes her and she wants to use him like he's never been used before, and that-when she leaves- he shouldn't "look so blue" 'cause he should've "seen right through."

First off, we all need to remember that josh does a lot of the writing for paramore...so this song could be about a girl being a decoy.
Secondly, I think its about 2 ppl in a relationship where one of them likes the other one a lot more and will do anything to please them. The one that's not really into sees what they can gain from it and continues the relationship for its benefits and knows that it'll be easy for them to just up and leave when they are ready.
