Paramore - this is an excellent song with deep meaning. Fyi this is a long answer to your question only because i wanted to be thorough in my analysis.

I believe the first 3-4 lines refers to bella asking how can she decide what's right when edward is trying to force the decision on her that she must stay away from him for her own good. Bella can't win against edward's argument that he is no good for her (even if he is giving her emotional "whiplash").

The second couple of verses reinforces that she can't win the argument with edward because he is always taking sides that she should stay away from him even though he can't stay away from her. The verse that reads "but you won't take away my pride, not this time" refers to bella being stubborn and refusing to give in to edward's argument even though edward appears to be winning the argument at first.

The refrain means how did edward and bella end up falling in love when bella believed that edward hated her and bella had told her school friends that she wasn't even going to bother with edward since he had the attitude that none of the girls in school were good enough for him (which i am certain edward heard he say that, but then when he tries to read her mind, he gets nothing which explains his first frustrated "inexplicable" expression in the lunch room. Additionally, edward was originally determined to be cold toward her and bella caught on to that so she thought she knew how edward felt about her until he suddenly switched gears their 2nd meeting in bio lab. The very last line of the refrain means that bella think s she knows what happened that has caused her to fall in love with edward.

The next several lines have multiple meanings. The line starting with "the truth is hiding in your eyes, and it's hanging on your tongue. " means that bella can see that edward his hiding answers from her starting with edward's denial of what happened at the hospital. Finally, he can't seem to lie anymore and just simply says "nobody is going to believe you" which basically admits to bella that edward is not being honest with her. The line that reads "just boiling in my blood" expresses bella's determination to find out the truth.

The (bridge? ) verses that reads "but you think that i can't see, what kind of man that you are, if you're a man at all" means from bella's point of view that edward thinks bella cannot see that he is really a bad guy, but bella knows he is not really the bad guy. Obviously, the line "if you're a man at all" refers to bella's unanswered questions regarding the speed and strength edward had in saving her from being hit by the van. The lines that read "well, i will figure this one out on my own,
(i'm screaming, "i love you so. "), on my own. (my thoughts you can't decode)" obviously reinforces bella's determination to find out how edward really saved her as well as the fact that she's falling in love with him, but edward does not know her feelings because he can't read her mind and "decode" her thoughts.

The next few verses that read "do you see what we've done? , we've gone and made such fools of ourselves" means that the edward (the lion) and bella (the lamb) have done the foolish thing of falling in love with each other.

Finally, the last line that reads "there is something i see in you. It might kill me. I want it to be true" means that bella has obviously seen someting in edward and that she doesn't believe he's the bad guy. The double meaning of the line "it might kill me" means that bella's feelings might be hurt (or killed) if edward continues to push her away from him by telling her to stay away. The darker meaning is that bella could actually die from being with edward if he can't control his blood thirst for her or he could also turn her into a vampire if he can find the will to not drain her dry. The very last line of "i want it to be true" means that bella wants to be in love with edward and she wants edward to love her.

I just love this song so much!!! Not because its the twilight soundtrack but its the meanings. I just love it sooo much!! :d but i agree with you redriot. I think it is meant for new moon. But this dong is just sooo awesome!!!
