I'm holding on your rope,
Got me ten feet off the ground
I'm hearin what you say but I just can't make a sound
You tell me that you need me
Then you go and cut me down, but wait
You tell me that you're sorry
Didn't think I'd turn around, and say...

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

I'd take another chance, take a fall
Take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat
But it's nothin new
I loved you with a fire red-
Now it's turning blue, and you say...
"Sorry" like the angel heaven let me think was you
But I'm afraid...

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

Bridge (guitar/piano)

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late
It's too late to apologize, yeah
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah-
I'm holdin on your rope, got me ten feet off the ground...

sometimes there comes a point when enough is enough. and some people just take advantage of all the chances they were given. and sometimes it really just comes down to its to late. to late to even say your sorry. to late to fix things. this song describes that so beautifully.

but then she didnt think that he will not takes the chances accepting
her sorry after all what she done to him
making him suffer living him lonely with all his feeling falling apart
he think that she will do it again. he doesnt have that confidence
like he add before for her. he doesn't trust her no more as he used
to be with her. so he dont want to take another chances by
getting the point enought is enought. he wants to move on
and he still love her and hes heart still beat for her love,
but thats doesnt mean that he got to give her a chance to make
the relationship going. so he prefered not to get his feeling hurt again
makeing his decision by forgetting her living her with her sorry...

i love this song it has such a strong meaning. it shows that somethimes when you mess up,.. sorry isnt good enough... you may love someone but by doing whatever you did, you may have hurt this person really badly. you may have even gotten into a fight, but by now they may be more than 1000 miles away. you may not even know where they are. it may be hard, but hey.. maybe it wasnt ment to be? somethings are better left unsaid.
