Declare this an emergency
Come on and spread a sence of urgency
And pull us through
And pull us through
And this is the end
This is the end of the world

It's time we saw a miracle
Come on it's time for something biblical
To pull us through
And pull us through
And this is the end
This is the end of the world

Proclaim eternal victory
Come on and change the course of history
And pull us through
And pull us throuh
And this is the end
This is the end of the world

Apocalypse means the end of the world, so according to the title, they are asking the world to an end.
In an interview Matt was asked if he was 'going through a bad period when they were writing/recording Absoution' and he replied that music for him was a way of understanding everything around him and things he hasn't really dealt with pwoperly comes out in the music.
    I cannot fault any song Muse have made, and I would say they were perfectionists but I think it just how they role;
    make music, tour, have fun
    Muse forever ♥.
