Ave, ave verum corpus natum
De Maria virgine
Vere passum immolatum
In cruce pro homine
Cuius latus perforatum
Unda fluxit et sanguine
Esto nobis praegustatum
In mortis examine
In mortis examine

Only in the version of mozart the 6th line is "unda fluxit et sanguine". Other composers use "fluxit aqua et sanguine".

    Hail, hail true body, born
    Of the virgin mary
    Truly suffered and were immolated
    On the cross for man
    Whose pierced side
    Flowed water and blood
    Be torn us
    In the examination of death
    In the examination of death

Hail, o true Body born of the Virgin Mary, indeed he suffered and died on the cross for men, and water and blood flowed from his perforated side.
