(Dougie)
I'm too far gone it's all over now
And you can't bring me down...

Love is won over by ignorance
Do not get won over by ignorance
These pills weren't meant to hurt you
For today and ever more
If fools were meant to f*** you,
Then why do fools fall in love

Has blown up your walls again
Your lies are all part of your intelect,
These pills weren't meant to hurt you
For today and ever more
If fools were meant to f**k you.
Then why do fools fall in love

(Danny)
In the story I was told well this was never mentioned,
Must have missed the chapter when,
I was 17 years old,
And there's nothing left but love

(Dougie)
An unfortunate consequence,
And you'll burn in hell when you fall against,
These pills weren't meant to hurt you
For today and ever more
If fools were meant to f*** you.
Then why do fools fall in love

(Danny)
In the story I was told well this was never mentioned,
Must have missed the chapter when,
I was 17 years old,
And there's nothing left but

They wont let go
When you see her coming
Please let me know
[x4]

I'm too far gone
It's all (Dougie...) over
And you can't bring me down.

[At same time]
(Danny & Tom)
Don't say your never gonna leave me
(Dougie) Love is won over by ignorance
Do not get won over by ignorance

I think that Dougie is trying to express that you have to know what ur doing in love. Or you will hurt the other! Dougie i love you! xx Never stop being the best!

Dougie wrote this about his dad who left him, his mom and his sister only a few weeks before Dougie joined McFly. It has a lot of meaning to it. I think the part where it says "don't say you're never gonna leave me" is especially sad and touching.
    Bless you, Douglas Poynter!
