Matt Redman – Endless Hallelujah lyrics

When I stand before Your throne
Dressed in glory not my own
What a joy I'll sing of on that day
No more tears or broken dreams
Forgotten is the minor key
Everything as it was meant to be
[Chorus:]
And we will worship, worship
Forever in Your presence we will sing
We will worship, worship You
And endless hallelujah to the King
I will see You as You are
Love You with unsinning heart
And see how much You paid to bring me home
Not till then, Lord, shall I know
Not till then, how much I owe
Everything I am before Your throne
Chorus
No more tears, no more shame
No more sin and sorrow ever known again
No more fears, no more pain
We will see You face to face
See You face to face
Chorus

This hymn looks forward to, and describes our ultimate destiny as Christians. On that day, at that time, we shall stand in an attitude of awe-filled love for our Saviour. We shall stand in the presence of God in a state of utter peace(Shalom) and love. We shall be in a state of worship; experiencing the 'worth' and love of God for us. We shall be able to freely reciprocate that love and become part of the endless praise that surrounds God. We, shall be transformed. We shall have been robed in splendour by our Father, just as the Prodigal Son was robed by his father, when he returned to his 'real' home. Our welcome by our father will be wholehearted , all-embracing ; we shall know that we have been forgiven We shall be at peace and content that our wayward peregrination are over for ever. We shall become incorporated into the all-embracing dynamic of His love. We shall be re-born. Hallelujah!
