Its about a lesbian relationship between two hertrosexual women. One is big and fat and the other is little and thin. They live in two different continents and when one tells the other goodnight its actually morning and the other person is angry that they so far apart but because of a great career opportunity where she can teach sewing classes in this other country, they are now apart but her partner helped her through her studies at sewing academy and now that she in not there to teach her and she is angry, you know how women are. One tries very hard, the thin one but she is also very sacastic and likes to call the fat one little girl. The fat one is trying to reach the thin one but she always struggles to get airline tickets because she needs two seats next to each other and she can't get leave from work, she also has a medical conditon where she must sit in the same spot for more than 72.21 mins, the flight is almost 10 hours. The thin one then tries to get to her but she had a stitching emergency and was required to stay until the matter is resolved. The fat on gets angry, the thin one tells the fat one that she can't carry the weight of her heavy world, the fat one gets offended thinking that she is just calling a oversize waste of space and ends the relationship.

He is telling her "goodnight" which could be telling her that it's over between them.

Maroon 5 is going hard, i love this song... I think it means that he hurt her, verbally, and really wants to say sorry so she can be happy again...

I think its a way of saying im sorry to the girl. Oh yeah when i first heard this song, i touched my heart and how i wished that someone will sing this for me.
