Once I believed that when love came to me,
It would come with rockets, bells and poetry;
But with me and you
It just started quietly and grew
And believe it or not, now there's
Something groovy and good 'bout whatever we got.

And it's getting better,
Growing stronger
Warm and wilder,
Getting better everyday,
Better everyday.

I don't feel all turned on and starry eyed;
I just feel a sweet contentment deep inside.
Holding you at night
Just seems kind of natural and right,
And it's not hard to see that it
Isn't half of what it's gonna turn out to be,

Cause it's getting better,
Growing stronger
Warm and wilder,
Getting better everyday,
Better everyday.

Ba da da da dah da da da da da da da da da
And I don't mind waiting, I don't mind waitin',
Cause no matter how long it takes, the two of us know

That it's getting better,
Growing stronger
Warm and wilder,
Getting better everyday,
Better everyday.

Getting better everyday,

Getting better everyday.

This song is rare in my experience. It touches on a subject few address
We are programmed to believe that love is earthshattering and
accompanied by fireworks and bells. Many people say it is true.
But what if there are no fireworks?
Can love exist without what we are told to expect.

    So is love valid.
Yes an ingrediants lacking or vacant entirely.
Usually, us missing a key element makes events seem more
    imperfect, less effective.

But is this ingrediant actually so important that love can't exist without it.
This girl is singing about discovery. Realising that there is more to it
than that. That love is not so simple as a firework show but rather
a feeling that cannot be described of it just 'being right'.

Many people claim to experience the fireworks but only a few, the lucky
few, get to experience the indescribable.
