'all i see scares me... ' i couldn't find a better word. Scared. Scared because he see's only the good in this girl, only everything he has ever wanted in someone, all it can do is put fear in him because he honestly thought nothing could possibly exist.

He can't help to feel the way he does, no matter what the sitation, her being with someone, or even fresh out of something serious. He see's the potential in her, and for that he would wait... No matter how long.

They're only content and at ease when with eachother, they both feel the same, and know the love and future they could have, yet, each has their reason to be hesitant, even if it's wrong that they are...

Love causes people to do crazy things, even to get no sleep, and to be helped by those close to him (friends). And no matter what they try to tell him, all he can do is see her in his mind, dream of her even when awake, and continue to love her more and more.

The meaning i get from this song (because im in a similar position) is that no matter how deep the love between this boy and a girl could get to be, she is following with her plans of going away. So thats what he is scared about, loosing her, but also they have to make the most of the little time they still have so theres no room for fears when they are together. That makes you have nightmares and share those fears with other people (your friends). And the relationship they have right now isnt all they could be because theres no point in getting complicated when they just want to make the most of the time left. "clean your thoughts, tonight we are safe together, remove your fears, and come closer baby, i want to see what you are made of". Is what i imagine him saying. This song for me is what we avoid discussing, or even thinking: am i going to wait for you? You know i could, should i?

If the sleep he gets is never ending, then how can thoughts of her be keeping him up? If anything it sounds like the boy is sleeping away the days, waiting for her. How do his friends help? Maybe they drag him out of bed and try to motivate him to get up and going.

I find this song means alot

Its about a boy and a girl, but it's what the girl does to the boy all the time. That boy cant help feel the way he does when hes with that girl. Even when they're not together, lets say she has a diffrent boyfriend or something that boy will always wait for that girl because all that she is scares him so much that he is in love with this girl and he doesnt want to lose her and no one will wait for her longer then he would.. Ever
