    On the surface this is a simple tale about the trials of a displaced animal species. A deeper meaning is found as it relates to the aging of everyone and how we deal with the changes in the world. Those of us fortunate enough to be able to look back 20 years typically only remember the good parts and we can understand it better in hindsight. The opposite is on display with the predominant demographic of the occupy movement. Most of them have nothing to appreciate from 20 years ago, and are blindly invoking the changes that this song contemplates; just as every generation has done before them.
