[Verse 1]
Oh no, did I get too close?
Oh, did I almost see
What's really on the inside
?
All your insecurities
All the dirty laundry
Never made me blink one time

[Chorus]
Unconditional, unconditionally
I will love you unconditionally
There is no fear now
Let go and just be free
I will love you unconditionally

[Verse 2]
Come just as you are to me
Don't need apologies
Know that you are worthy
I'll take your bad days with your good
Walk through the storm I would
I do it all because I love you
I love you

[Chorus]
Unconditional, unconditionally
I will love you unconditionally

There is no fear now
Let go and just be free

I will love you unconditionally

[Bridge]
So open up your heart and just let it begin
Open up your heart and just let it begin
Open up your heart and just let it begin
Open up your heart
Acceptance is the key to be
To be truly free
Will you do the same for me
?

[Chorus]
Unconditional, unconditionally
I will love you unconditionally
There is no fear now
Let go and just be free
I will love you unconditionally

[Outro]
I will love you
I will love you
I will love you unconditionally

I think this song can actually be taken as a relationship not only human but with Jesus Christ. We can find lines in this song, that personally, I feel God is saying it to me. It's just amazing. His love is unconditional and He will take those bad and good days and walk with you. That is a promise. When it says to open up your heart and just let it begin and to accept God into your heart. He already accepts you and loves you unconditionally. No matter what you do in your life He will always be there and He will always love you unconditionally. For me this song it's not just talking about human relationships. For me is more spiritual.

This song to me represents how we should view all relationships! No conditions!! There are both good and bad relationships, the bad ones are presented with conditions. The good ones are the ones you go into unconditionally! Without hesitation. I am a firm believer that everyone has their guards up with new relationships but, if you are too careful and start with conditions it will never work. A marriage, a new child, with God, and with life. Nothing is perfect, however if that is your attitude, there are conditions.

I think what the song wants to say is that you should just be natural if you want to love someone and not act cool just to impress that person that u like. Maybe when you are yourself, the person you like might just fall in love with you. From the song,'Acceptance is the key to be truly free.' shows exactly what i am saying.

I think that if you listen to it, it shows that you should love someone forever. I felt trapped in my life but as soon as the first tune I felt free as well as by listening to "by the grace of god". I cried as the songs played my heart felt so free I sung the 2 songs whenever I had the chance to because I asked some people I knew " what if I said that I liked Katy Perry " and they said that if I did I would be labeled an idiot so my love of Katy had to stay hidden I felt a little free when I heard firework. It made me feel that I shouldn't feel like a small piece of trash but if I did they would make my life horrible to the day I die. P.S. The name is Nick.

Katy Perry used to be a Christian singer/artist. I wouldn't be surprised if there is an underlying religious message in the song. She makes some bible references in her song "Wide Awake" also. There are a lot of songs even unintentionally religious sounding, such as that big hit from Evanescence "bring me to life" I think it was. Everyone thought that was a religious reference but they deny it.
