Look away from me
’Cause I don’t want you to see
My experimenting with what I know is empty
I am in so deep
That I’ve almost stopped breathing
I know I’m drowning

I am on my own
I want you to call me home

It seems too late to apologize
What I’ve done is done
And yet when I look in your eyes
I am overcome

Home is not as sweet as it used to be
And it’s all because of me
Should I leave it be
Or can I be redeemed

This could be the cry of Judas when he realized what he'd done and couldn't get out of it. Perhaps after he threw the money down at the leaders and left knowing he was in so deep - he had done the deed, now what? He wanted to die - wanted to be called home. He was on his own in the separation from God he felt in the sin the gripped him. We must never give up hope that we can be redeemed. Jesus died once for all - for all have sinned and fall short of His glory. When we say we can't be redeemed, our Lord Jesus died in vain. He is the savior of all. Please don't be like Judas and question the love that is truly in His eyes for each sinner. We can be redeemed - you can be redeemed.
