Listening to welcome to my world,reminds me of my meeting nights within the masonic fraternity. In the first verse when he sings wont you come on in,it gives me the feeling i get at every masonic meeting,one of complete acceptance,harmony,and brotherly love. Step into my heart leave your cares behind,another masonic trait as a mason will always have a sympathetic heart and shoulder,whenever needed. I`ll be waiting here with my arms unfurled,waiting just for you welcome to my world,again brotherly love.

Also for me, from a spiritual perspective, this is the first song played at my mams funeral earlier this year, love and miss you mam, and also thinking about my dad, i lost him in 1993, love and miss you too xxx

From a spiritual perspective it is about seeking answers to the wonders and the miracles of life. Why do we exist and where are we heading. It is taken from the scriptures, knock and the door will be open, seek and you will find, ask it will be given; to interpret this from my perspective is; knock on god's door and he shall open it for you. Seek what you are looking for (salvation) and you will find it in the realms of the almighty, ask with all honesty and truth and he will answer your prayers.
