He is falling in Love with some and is scared , the words i never thought i would love someone who is someones dream might mean they are with someone else, I really can relate to this song!
In my prospective about this song is that you give somone wht they want and wht they want is you. You can give a mintue , day or maybe evan a lifetime to give the person you love your love. It's never to late you complete someone it may not seem like it but you do and love them back the way they love you. Be open to anything and everything that shows up on your doorstep. Dont give up and be willing to give it a try.. :)

In my opinion, based on experience, the guy is scared because he has already fallen in love so much there are no words to say. He is simply trying to protect himself by holding back but he already knows he's in too deep. He wants something to prove that their love is at par or else he might just walk away to spare him pain in the future.
