(Feat. Nelly Furtado)
Let me hold you
For the last time
It's the last chance to feel again
But you broke me
Now I can't feel anything

When I love you
It's so untrue
I can't even convince myself
When I'm speaking
It's the voice of someone else

Oh it tears me up
I tried to hold on but it hurts too much
I tried to forgive but it's not enough
To make it all okay

You can't play our broken strings
You can't feel anything
That your heart don't want to feel
I can't tell you something that aint real

Oh the truth hurts
And lies worse
I can't like it anymore
And I love you a little less than before

Oh what are we doing
We are turning into dust
Playing house in the ruins of us

Running back through the fire
When there's nothing left to say
It's like chasing the very last train
When it's too late

Oh it tears me up
I tried to hold on but it hurts too much
I tried to forgive but it's not enough
To make it all okay

You can't play our broken strings
You can't feel anything
That your heart don't want to feel
I can't tell you something that aint real

Oh the truth hurts
And lies worse
I can't like it anymore
And I love you a little less than before

But we're running through the fire
When there's nothing left to say
It's like chasing the very last train
When we both know it's too late

You can't play our broken strings
You can't feel anything
That your heart don't want to feel
I can't tell you something that aint real

Oh the truth hurts
And lies worse
I can't like it anymore
And I love you a little less than before
Oh and I love you a little less than before

Let me hold you for the last time
It's the last change to feel again

They love each other too much that they don't wanna hurt each other anymore. They just don't know how much they're missing. He loves her, but he doesn't know. She loves him, but then, she doesn't wanna hurt him again. The line "I can't like it anymore" -- trying to control and "And I love you a little less than before" -- they don't feel so crazy; they know they love each other but not as crazy as they thought so. Love is so powerful.

WHEN i first heard this song i fell inlove with the lyrics itself because of the fact that i can "RELATE" and "CONNECT" ... and i know how much it takes a lot of effort to save a relationship even if its too late ...

In LOVE, derz olweiz pain... but dont let pain ruin evrything ...

i so love this song. it's about two lovers who tried to hold on to their relationship, but they ended up being apart. despite all, they still love each other, just not like they used to.:)
