Well i'm the first one comenting on this. :)
i hope there will be others that will share there comments. Well i first want to start of to say this is a great song and romantic. It reminds me of myself a lot(altho tht dsnt matter in here). Anyway. , i think in my opinion that this song is about a long distance relationship, as we can see how james ingram decided to sing it with another girl in singing.. How it starts

*someone saying a prayer
that we'll find one another
in that big somewhere outthere* so maybe here its saying how they hav known each other for quit a while yet they can be with each other for right now.

*and even tho i kno how very far apart we are
it helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star! * --so even tho they cant be witheach other right now, the person is trying to stay positive about their situation

*if love can see us thru
then we'lll be together
somewhere outthere
out where dreams come true*?so if they wait on each other and keep on staying positive, and if their love persevers or like they fight for it,.. They will make it. And they will meet somewhere outthere where dreams can come true. Bc if u fite for wat u want, u can have it. (kinda also relates to the song:somewhere over the rainbow)

Sorta like a long distance relationshiop, or maybe for some circumstance they cant be together right now.. Or maybe its a young couple who cant be together for now.

Depends how u take it, the people in this song are trying to stay positve beside their circumstance:)
