I love listening this song, because it's amazing like all James Blunt's song. In my opinion James still loves Simona and she's important person in his life.
meaning:
James and his lover, Simona, would always go out every Saturday in 1973, but now Simona has grown older ... he misses those Saturday eves in 1973. And he is saying that even when a lot of time has passed, years and years, he will always remember that club in 1973 ... how sad! But so touching at the same time. ;(
