Hillsong – Came To My Rescue lyrics

Falling on my knees in worship,
Giving all I am to seek Your face,
Lord all I am is is Yours.

My whole life,
I place in Your hands,
God of mercy,
Humbled I bow down,
In your presence at Your throne.

I called You answered,
And You came to my rescue and I,
I wanna be where You are.

In my life be lifted high.
In our world be lifted high.
In our love be lifted high.

I find that this means surrender and humility, he saved us from ourselves (as well as eternal separation from him). We must die to ourselves to have him live in us. God is always there for us, but we have to call to him and be willing to accept his sacrifice that makes us worthy to come before him. Jesus is the only way that god the father can answer us. The more we lt god rescue us from ourselves the more he is lifted high in our lives. Praise to him who saves us and answers us!
