Walk me to the desert
And leave me
I'll dig my own way home

In keeping with the theme of this band's songs; this may be in reference to the temptation of Jesus in the desert. See Matthew 4:1-11, Mark 1:12-13, Luke 4:1-13.

While in the desert, Satan tempts Jesus in various ways to get him out of his "predicament" of being alone/hungry/thirsty. The lyrics could be referring to Jesus' rejection of Satan's offers.

We would have to ask the band to know for sure ;)
