Inside everyone hides one desire
Outside no one would know
Danger, close as the edge of the knife
Safer not to let go
And whil we miss chances
You can almost hear time slipping away
We close our eyes we never lose a game
Imagination never lets us take the blame
We close our eyes to see the final frame
We close our eyes to time slipping away [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/g/go_west/we_close_our_eyes.html ]
No show... Wednesday girl waits witht he wine
She knows just what to say
While no one listens
You can almost hear time slipping away
We close our eyes we never lose a game
Imagination never lets us take the blame
We close our eyes to see the final frame
We close our eyes to time slipping away
We can talk to strangers
We are burning with the spark
And we can walk on water
We are tigers in the dark
We are burning!
We close our eyes
Heroes never give in to the night
He knows how far he can run
And as he surrenders
You can almost hear time slipping away

I believe that this song is talking about the upsetting human condition and beautiful truth to existance. "inside everyone hides one desire" - love simple
"outside noone would know" - the mask we all wear. "we close our eyes we never loose a game" meditation or simple self reflection, contemplation or mindfulness of ones self and ones nature, you can never loose the game ! Imagination never lets us take the blame! The most powerful truth -
"we can talk to strangers, we are burning with the spark, and we can walk on water, we are tigers in the dark, we are burning! "
- your perceptions and thoughts make up the universe in which you exist!
“our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am i to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of god. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of god that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. â€
