Heart of gold but it lost its pride
Beautiful veins and bloodshot eyes
I've seen your face in another light
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
In too deep and out of time.
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
A simple man and his blushing bride
Intravenous, intertwined
Hearts gone cold your hands were tied
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
In too deep and out of time.
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
Do you ever think of me?
You're so considerate.
Do you ever think of me?
Oh, so considerate.
In too deep and lost in time
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
Beautiful veins and bloodshot eyes
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
Hearts gone cold and hands were tied.
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
Do you ever think of me?
You're so considerate.
Did you ever think of me?
Oh, so considerate.
In too deep and lost in time
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
Beautiful veins and bloodshot eyes
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
Hearts gone cold and hands were tied.
Why'd you have to go and let it die?
Why'd you have to go and let this die?
Why'd you have to go and let this die?
Why'd you have to go and let this die?
Why'd you have to go and let this die?
Wow, nocemisions. you got a point there. I've been a huge Foo Fighters ever since I first Big Me in Okinawa Japan. Before I even knew Dave Grohl was the front man. This album may be better than Colour and Shape. Still not quite as good as the debut. But all of these songs have a ton of emotion. I figured the song was about someone dyin of an od or something like that, but I barely think of Nirvana when it comes to the FF's anymore. I think Dave Grohl is probably one of most talented human beings in music. His emotion really comes out in this album. But now that you mentioned it, it's gotta be for Kurt.
This song played live = AMAZING. You can really feel the expression like 50x better (okay, I doubt that's even possible; this song is loaded with emotion).
