Show me, show me, show me a starry-eyed kid
I, I, I will break his jaw
I won't, I won't, I won't let him get his hopes up
No-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
And I will save him from himself
Here's a picture with a no-note
"No, don't turn out like me"
It's only for your own good
No-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh

And haven't you heard
The word on the street is
"I lost it, called it quits"
Get it into the sun,
Out from behind the gossip
Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh

This story's getting old
The homewrecker with a heart of gold
Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind
Keep, k-keep talking
Keep this alive
This story's getting old
The homewrecker with a heart of gold
Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind now-ow, ow-ow, ow-ow

Hey, hey [x3]

Even when there's
N-n-n-nothing worth living for
You're still, you're still, still worth lying for
N-no one has to know-ow, ow-ow, ow-ow
And haven't you heard
The word on the street is
"I lost it, called it quits"
Get it into the sun
Out from behind the gossip
Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh

This story's getting old
The homewrecker with a heart of gold
Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind
Keep, k-keep talking
Keep this alive
This story's getting old (This story's getting old)
The homewrecker with a heart of gold
Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind now-ow, ow-ow, ow-ow

[Screams]

This story's getting old
The homewrecker with a heart of gold
Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind
Keep, k-keep talking
Keep this alive
This story's getting old (This story's getting old)
The homewrecker with a heart of gold
Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind now-ow, ow-ow, ow-ow
N-n-now, ow-ow, ow-ow [x3]

Stop!

@davyire- *snickers* I think you're full of it dude. Fall Out Boy is not full of hatred, murder, violence, and death. I have no idea what they're 'full of' to be honest, but it's not that. Honestly I think all it is that you heard the fast, upbeated-ness of the song, couldn't understand the words, and got freaked out. All this song is saying is that the same old same old story of the homewrecker having a heart of gold is getting ridiculous because how can someone who tears apart a family have a heart of gold? That and I'm sure that the guy you're describing quoted the first part about breaking a starry-eyed kids jaw, right? Yeah, I truly don't have anything to say about that. It is a little violent, but seriously dude? Have you heard any of the other Fall Out Boy songs? I suggest you sit your spiritual little butt down, chill with some lemonade, and take a listen. They're not all Amazing Grace, but they're not all 'bad' either.

This song is another fine example of the work of those who have opened themselves up to demon possession. This stuff is dangerous and those who listen habitually leave themselves open to spiritual influences that are extremely dangerous. E. G. A young man recently charged for a serious assault on a man leaving him with debilitating brain injuries leading to a vegetative state quoted some of these lyrics on his bebo site. This is not an isolated example, the spirit behind these 'performers' is full of hatred, murder, violence and death. Steer clear. John ch3 v16.
