I think this song is about two people that have an undeniable, unbreakable connection - something much deeper than love. They've tried to be together several times, but one of them keeps doing something to sabotage it. But no matter what, they keep finding their way back to each other because they recognize that they are meant to be together and instinct and an overwhelming need for each other tells them they must keep trying... Because it really is meant to be.

The singer is a rough dude and knows it, but loves this girl because she inspires him to be better; but no matter what, he now realizes he's not capable of being someone he can't be, no matter how hard he tries. And now he knows that she is seeing it this way, and that the "end is creepin' in" and she's about to break it off (reluctantly - she's looking down at her feet and kicking the stones on the ground), and despite his self-denial ("close my eyes for the chance of a better view | close my ears so i couldn't hear you"), it's coming - and the inevitable pain will be so great it'll take 37 stitches to stitch his broken heart back together.

I think this song is about two people, lovers or otherwise, who are distanced or are having problems or such. I believe that the thirty seven stitches might mean that the narrator tried to slit his wrists or cut himself or such.

I think its about a guy who is in infinite love with a girl who doesnt love him
He treats her as his heaven but she treats him as piece of hell.
He cant bear this pain and so needs 37 stitches to keep the pain in

A man had his wife cheat on him. He then kills both his wife and her lover, he is haunted by both the image of them in a loving embrace and the act of him murdering them both... It takes 37 stitches to stitch his mouth eyes and mouth shut so no one else will see or hear of this pain.

I think its about a guy who is in love with a girl he cant have for some reason. Either he is married or she is married or both are in some type of relationship that he wishes wasnt there so he can have her. He knows its wrong but he is transfixed on having her.

This song is about 2 lovers, so intense that it overcomes them both. For good or bad they are connected on a level that is above the normal plane of existance. The singer has obviously lost sight of that, or had no choice but to break that connection. Hes in pain over the loss but doesn't know exactly what to do to fix it. He feels like his insides are being ripped out from the pain he feels, and the pain that he has caused his love. I have a personal connection to this song... It was somehow wrote for me i think.

My interpretation of 37 stitches is from the view of a an idividual, who can really say if it is man, woman or child, has disappointed another individual. But as it does seem, i would think it is a man in a relationship with a woman, and it very well could be the act of infidelity that has occurred. For whatever the situation is he knows he has wronged someone very important to him. Have you ever just walked along somberly and kind of drag n kick your feet? With your head hung? The main character is expecting to be in trouble. He is wanting her to say something, anything. He has hurt her and he knows it and he knows the end is here and there is no need to fight. She was his taste of heaven and ultimately the wrong doing that was committed was her hell. I am thinking that the sweet whistle of the piper was the temptation involved, another woman perhaps is the wrong hand that was guiding? His head is hung low in shame. Because there is no proof of a "dark side of the sun" , he realizes that she is the one and he has blown it. Forever. He has lost someone and it is what it is... Over.

The song is over 2 iovers that dont see each other because they are many many kiiometers away from each other (on the other side of sun). So the singer from the i perspective iove the person on the other side of sun becouse she understand him and they think they are for together. So they wait for each other, but the waiting makes him iii, so he need 37 stitches to keep the pain, because they wait sooo iong.

I hope i transiate it good, sorry mes german so my engish ishnt good, but i hope you understand.
